Mosaik Featured in The Textile Eye Fall Report

My recent collaboration with FilzFelt, Mosaik, was included in The Textile Eye Fall 2024 report as the primary visual example of Immersive Experiences “Textiles for Engaging Commercial Spaces”. The article highlights how commercial spaces are evolving with a renewed focus on “bringing energy and inspiration to workspaces.”

Shown as a design spotlight, the article also includes a full page spread highlighting my five woven designs in collaboration with FilzFelt and Artaic for Mosaik. The article includes many images of Mosaik and a peak at behind the design with my first watercolor rendering.

A highlight reads, “FilzFelt launches Mosaik, an acoustic wall application using 100% Wool Felt tiles in over ninety colors…FilzFelt partnered with Boston-based designer Kelly Harris Smith to introduce five new designs inspired by traditional textile patters and Anni Albers, offering modern, playful patterns for enhanced acoustic performance.”
