Crossing Hanging Panels

Crossing Hanging Panels are part of the Wander Collection for FilzFelt. Inspired by my urban neighborhood surroundings and the roads, sidewalks, traffic signs, and railroads that fill it, the series of felt hanging panels reflect my fascination with the patterns I wander past every day.

The design of Crossing takes inspiration from rail lines with shifting courses of horizontal perforations.

FilzFelt Hanging Panels allow the soft texture, thickness, and density of 100% Wool Design Felt to hang freely without a backing or additional support. The nifty nonwoven textile panels are CNC (Computer Numeric Control) cut with intricate patterning and can be customized in size and color. All this comes together in a modern screening system that provides varied degrees of privacy and enables flexible space division with visual and acoustic separation. (2021)
